Nestled in the charming village of Pastrana, Hostal Rural Moratín was an unexpected gem on my recent adventure in Spain. After a scorching 500 km motorcycle ride, settling into my air-conditioned room—complete with rustic touches and a cozy sofa—felt like a luxury I didn’t know I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring all our requests were met promptly, and their insights on local attractions added to the experience. Breakfast at the on-site bar was delightful, setting the perfect tone for our day of exploration. The seasonal outdoor pool provided a refreshing respite after wandering the picturesque streets nearby. Although there isn’t any parking directly at the hotel, the tourist car park is just a short walk away.
